We're currently looking for Field Service Mechanical Technician to join our team, working directly at a client site in one of the following locations in the USA, including Michigan (Lake Orion, Bay City, Dearborn), South Carolina (Gray Court), California (Palo Alto), Illinois (Normal), Indiana (Kokomo), and Georgia (Augusta).

Roles&Responsibilities

Assemble and start up CNC machines and assembly equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical errors and resolve issues promptly
Read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical drawings
Utilize precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, indicators, micrometers)
Follow tool layouts and NC code (G-code, M-functions)
Respond quickly to customer installations and emergency service calls

Requirements

Education: High School Diploma (minimum)
Experience: CNC machining or machine building experience preferred, Familiarity with assembly equipment and robotic cells is a plus
Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of metric systems, Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot effectively
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site
Working experience:  2 years of relevant experience preferred

Additional Requirements

Travel: Must be willing and able to travel frequently, often on short notice
Work Environment: Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Communication: Strong communication skills in an international setting
Overtime: Willingness to work overtime when necessary to meet project deadlines or customer needs
Passport: Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid passport for potential international travel
